Jaclyn Sarnese is a STEM educator with a passion for educational reform, policy and community initiatives. Jaclyn has had the unique opportunity to visit dozens of science classrooms across the country and has developed a first-hand understanding of effective STEM classroom instruction. She believes that we can elevate STEM teaching by empowering classroom teachers with direct, personalized, hands-on support aligned with their own personal goals for professional growth.
Jaclyn started out in the classroom, teaching high school biology and biomedical science in New Jersey.
Jaclyn took a year off to pursue her master's degree full-time in education policy at the University of Pennsylvania. She was also fortunate to be exposed to science outreach, grant applications and STEM Ecosystems.
Curriculum & NGSS
Jaclyn became a Science Education Consultant for a science curriculum designed to implement the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) using the 5E Instructional Model
